Grammy award-winning DJ and engineer, Young Guru has had a hand in crafting and perfecting the most influential hip-hop music of the last decade: Roc-a-fella Records. In 2010, Guru officially returned to his DJ roots, jumping into the saddle as Jay-Z’s official tour DJ. Guru’s knowledge of diverse genres including early hip-hop, house and soul, contribute to his wide range of DJ techniques. As of recent, Guru has been party rocking from Los Angeles to New York City with frequent visits to London which is all leading into an upcoming European Tour. Over the years Young Guru has been a major part of several artists careers, outside of just Hov. Don’t lose sight, he has mixed and engineered albums for Beyonce, Ludacris, Ghostface Killah, Freeway, Redman & Method Man, Mariah Carey, Pete Rock, Fabolous, Talib Kweli, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony & T.I just to name a few.
